Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 240
Tonikaku Kawaii Fly Me to the Moon 240
トニカクカワイイ 240
Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:
Tsukasa mentions to Nasa that all of his friends are girls. He tries to deny this, but fails. As a fallback, he informs Tsukasa that she’s the only girl he loves. She is not impressed since she already knows this. Putting that aside, Tsukasa asks if Nasa is really going to go all out against Asimo. After all, if Asimo loses, he won’t get to date Himari.
At school, a frustrated Himari watches Asimo study like mad. She wants him to repeat his confession to her without specifying that to Asimo. As such, Asimo fails to repeat the words Himari wants to hear. Thus, Himari leaves him in a huff. She ponders how difficult it will be for Asimo to win. Since she failed to get Nasa’s contact information, she goes to the library where she initially bumped into him and waits.
Meanwhile, Nasa decides to return a book to said library. He finds Himari there, waiting for him. This causes Nasa to realize how much Himari likes Asimo. She denies it, then demands his contact info. Elsewhere, Asimo wonders if he screwed up with Himari.
Thoughts/Review:
Ah, we get the old, “Know what I’m thinking” girl actions in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 240. As much as I love women, when in a relationship (or in this case, a near relationship), they can be frustrating by expecting their man to know exactly what they are thinking. I mean, is it too much to ask for a girl to be specific on what she wants? 😅 And since Hata-sensei is writing about it, clearly, this is a universal, female trait. 😂
That aside, I did get a chuckle out of Tsukasa noticing Nasa only has female friends. I think Aya has brought this up before. But this is the first time Tsukasa has mentioned it to her husband. And when she wasn’t giving Nasa a hard time, she was making a case for going easy on Asimo. Or at least, that’s how I interpreted things.
Finally, we get a plot contrivance to allow Nasa and Himari to meet again. Obviously, Hata-sensei wants Himari to see Tsukasa again. Since Hata-sensei didn’t make that happen in the previous chapter, it has to be wedged in here. But I guess I’m fine with it. I’m kinda curious as to how Tsukasa is connected to Himari.
Final Thoughts and Conclusion
In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 240 was a fun chapter that continued to push the Himari x Asimo romance as well as whatever connection Himari has with Tsukasa.
